What’s your go-to way to de-stress after a long day?
A nice long soak in a hot bath with a glass of wine and lots of bubbles.
What small habit have you developed that has made a big difference in your work?
Just doing a little extra every day. A little extra effort often turns into a big surprising success.
Where would you go and why if you could travel anywhere in the world right now?
Anywhere on a cruise! With a drink package and no wi-fi package. It’s a great way to get away from it all in a beautiful climate.
What has been your favorite event or memory here at Industrial Repair Service?
I have enjoyed watching the company grow in size and capability over the last 15 years, while still maintaining a family feel.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I love spending time with family. My kids have grown into amazing adults!
What’s the most valuable thing you’ve learned from a colleague?
I asked our former co-worker, Suzy Hollingsworth, how she deals with it when she’s stuck in a rut, unable to reach anyone on the phone or make many sales, and she said “you just keep the next call.” Persistence pays off!
What’s one thing that always makes you laugh?
Any irreverent humor. I still laugh when the ketchup bottle farts.
What work-related accomplishments are you most proud of?
Hitting sales goals. When I’m red, it stresses me out.
