Repairing More Than Machines: Our Dedication to Love Kaleb Inc.

On Friday, August 30th, the Industrial Repair Service crew hosted a cookout that celebrated the success of the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and Fundraiser in partnership with Love Kaleb Inc. at our headquarters in Cumming, Georgia.
The lunch began at noon, where attendees were welcomed with barbecue favorites, including hamburgers and hot dogs, potato/macaroni salad, corn and fresh fruit. While they indulged in the food spread, guests also enjoyed games like Jenga, and giant Connect 4. Teams of two were in constant rotation around the ping pong table, and there was a raffle table where contestants could win two giveaways: a BBQ/Grill Accessory bundle and a Picnic basket.
Amid such a heartwarming atmosphere, everyone also helped themselves to sweets at the dessert table, which had a loving commemoration to Love Kaleb Inc., as the cake displayed a special “Thank You” from Industrial Repair Service, thanking the non-profit for all that they do. Guests also grabbed party favors and were able to take back freshly popped popcorn bags and cotton candy wands.
A check was given from James Doyle, President and CEO of Industrial Repair Service, in the amount of $12,931. A $14,900 surprise check was also given from Duck’s 3rd Annual Car Show, the total value at $27,831.
Funds from the tournament were raised through registration, raffle prizes and silent auctions, and similar activities at the car show. Over the last year alone, Love Kaleb Inc. provided holiday assistance to over 150 families, including Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts for 102 children, and 1,400 free meals at their Halloween drive. A student at Lumpkin County Mountain Education Chartered High School was also awarded a scholarship and the non-profit has currently enlisted care packages for children in emergency vehicles across multiple counties.
“James has been there since the moment we found out the news,” said Duckworth. “Every day there was a text or a call asking if we were okay and if we needed anything. That’s what we wanted our foundation to represent: compassion for someone else and especially in their darkest moments. It’s people like that that have actually kept us going. Its meant more than you guys know.”
