By July 17, 2024 Company events

From exceeding sales goals to smashing fundraising records, it has been a week of double victories at Industrial Repair Service!

The first-ever National Sales Meeting took place on Sunday, July 14th, at Embassy Suites Halcyon in Cumming, GA, where sales representatives from all over the country flew in to discuss 2025 initiatives for Industrial Repair Service. Introductions of the company’s leaders, new staff members, and MVPs kicked off the day, followed by a delicious lunch. A fun scavenger hunt activity took place to bond the teams and get them excited for the upcoming year.

On Monday, July 15th, Industrial Repair Service hosted their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament & Fundraiser in partnership with Love Kaleb Inc. at Polo Golf & Country Club. The event honored the memory of Kaleb Duckworth, son of Industrial Repair Service’s Electronics Shop Manager, Tommy Duckworth, who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

The day commenced with the first of Industrial Repair Service’s Inspiration Breakfasts, with a presentation led by retired New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik. The commissioner discussed “Leadership in Crisis” and took questions from the crowd. The buffet had delicious foods, including scrambled eggs, croissants, and French toast, followed by Bloody Mary’s, sponsored by Titos.

At 11 AM, opening statements were given by Tommy Duckworth on behalf of him and his wife, Amanda Duckworth, thanking everyone for being a part of the special day. There was overwhelming excitement among all attendees as the shotgun start began the tournament. Throughout the day, there were raffles filled with prizes, like Jim n Nick’s sauce & seasoning bundle and Cherry Street Brewing merch. Silent auctions included a $600 TopGolf gift card, Embassy Suites Halcyon 2-Night Stay, and much more! On-course contests for participants were also in full swing.

At 5:30PM, awards were given to the tournament winners and the last-place team as a token for their exemplary sportsmanship. The winner of the 50/50 action gave her share back to Love Kaleb Inc., and all proceeds will go towards offering financial and emotional assistance to families in need during the holidays, hosting community events, and providing scholarships to Lumpkin County Mountain Education Chartered High School.

James Doyle, President and CEO of Industrial Repair Service, ended the wonderful day with a closing statement thanking everyone for their time. The team went above and beyond, and all participants are excited about next year’s event!
