Employee Spotlight: Getting to Know Joseph Karapetyan, Repair Technician in Los Angeles, California.  

This October, we invite you to meet Zhozef, a.k.a. Joseph, our talented technician who plays a crucial role in our LAX repair shop. Born in Armenia, Joseph moved to the U.S. at eighteen and has lived here for the past seven years. Hired on September 7, 2021, Joseph has become a key contributor to our success. Join us as we discover what fuels his passion for the job, his favorite lunch spot in LA, and more!

What’s your favorite thing about working at the LAX Shop?  

I really enjoy working with people who are willing to help you grow.  

When it comes to your job, what’s one thing you’re really good at?  

I’m great at working fast and staying on top of everything. 

If you were a cartoon character, which one would you be and why? 

I would be SpongeBob because he’s happy all the time.

What’s your go-to party trick?  

Unfortunately, I have no party tricks! Now I need to find one..

What is one of your work-related goals this year? 

I want to learn more and be able to diagnose on a deeper level. 

What’s one thing that instantly makes any day better?   

A Monster energy drink (specifically the peach flavor) yum.

How do you inspire yourself to work hard each day? 

I inspire myself by constantly thinking about my future and being able to move out with my girlfriend. 

What’s your favorite lunch spot to visit during the week?  

Road to Seoul Korean BBQ. 

Living in California, have you ever met a famous celebrity? 

Surprisingly, I’ve never met anyone famous living in California. 

What professional skill are you currently working on? 

I’m Working on my mechanical skills at home on my personal project car.
