Our Equipment Repair Process: From Start to Finish

By January 15, 2025 Uncategorized

We understand that unexpected equipment failures can disrupt your workflow, but we’re here to help! From start to finish, this is what you can expect from our team when you enlist us to tackle your repair:

First, you’ll contact us via call, email, or text to inform us about the repair. You don’t need to provide any specific information upfront because we’ll give you the necessary paperwork to ship your unit to our facility. While not mandatory, providing the manufacturer and model number beforehand can be helpful, especially for pickups, to prevent any confusion during transit.

Upon arrival, your unit is logged into our system, and a unique repair number is assigned for easy tracking. Our Quotes Department meticulously evaluates the repair cost, considering factors such as the OEM price of a new unit, average parts and labor costs, and competitive pricing.

You’ll receive a Sales Order for approval, which can be granted with a PO number or credit card. Our flat-rate quote covers the complete repair of your unit, bundled with our comprehensive in-service warranty. If you decline the quote, we can either return your unit or responsibly dispose of it at our facility, free of charge!

Once approved, our skilled technicians thoroughly evaluate your unit and commence the repair process. You’ll be notified if no issues are found, and a minimal test and cleaning fee will apply. Our Parts Department will explore replacement options if the unit is beyond repair. We’ll provide a detailed report, including a quote for replacements if available, and if you decline the quote, you can choose to have your repaired unit shipped back to you or arrange for its disposal.

All electronic repairs are backed by our 24-month in-service warranty, and servo motors, servo valves, and robot rebuilds are covered by an 18-month in-service warranty. These warranties cover the entire unit, not just the repaired or replaced components, and have indefinite shelf life.

You’ll receive an invoice within a few days of receiving your repaired unit. We typically ship repairs via FedEx Ground; however, we can accommodate your preferred shipping method.

We aim to make every repair as easy, efficient, and feasible as possible. Contact us today to get started!
