With October coming to a close and welcoming Thanksgiving festivities with open arms, here is our recap of our Halloween celebrations and a farewell to our monstrously memorable month.

Our Halloween contest was held Thursday, the 31st, and the creativity this year has reached new heights of fright. Everyone, from our warehouse staff to sales, dressed in their spookiest attire, and got to flaunt their costumes around our office. Our excellent staff at our other locations sent in their outfits to HQ, and once we received their pictures, all were posted on our company’s Facebook page. Voting began and ended at 4 PM with one like equaling one vote. Some standouts included the sales gals who dressed as Jellyfish and our top three winners, Ashley Doyle as Bob from Beetlejuice, Allie Quintana as Winnie-the-Pooh, and Carli Ruthardt as a hippie, received the most likes and were awarded gift cards!

For the first time, Industrial Repair Service hosted their ladies’ potluck, where our extraordinary and invaluable ladies of the office volunteered to whip up sides, appetizers, and desserts to accompany pizza ordered for lunch. Knick knacks, including spooky sticky notepads, Halloween stress balls, and syringe pens, were available as favors, and the conference room, clocked in creepy décor, was where everyone was able to indulge in their costumes and enjoy the ambiance.

Of course, we must remember Duck’s 4th Annual Trunk and Treat hosted on Sunday, October 27th. Every year since Kaleb’s passing, hundreds of children take part in the event, and it is another fantastic way to bring the community together and celebrate the spooktacular holiday. This year, Industrial Repair Service donated 2,983 pieces of candy (over fifty-one pounds) to the organization, and it provided children with all the sweet treats they could dream of!

As October ends, we want to thank everyone who participated in our Halloween festivities. And remember, while you’re enjoying the fall season, don’t forget about your industrial repair needs. Send your equipment our way for a wicked turnaround!
