At Industrial Repair Service (IRS), our team is built on strong relationships, both within our company and with the customers we serve every day. This month, we’re excited to spotlight Carli Ruthardt, one of our dedicated Account Managers who has been a valuable part of the IRS team since 2022.

Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, Carli plays a key role in supporting customers across her territory. Let’s get to know Carli a little better.

Meet Carli

Since joining IRS, Carli has grown into her role by building strong customer relationships and adapting to the fast-paced nature of inside sales. Her day-to-day work involves staying connected with customers, helping them navigate repair needs, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.

Like many Account Managers at IRS, Carli’s role goes beyond transactions: it’s about trust, communication, and real client connections.

What She’s Watching and Reading

Outside of work, Carli enjoys staying up to date with both television and books, especially when they connect to her surroundings or leave a lasting impression.

When asked what she’s watched or read lately, she shared:

“The best thing I’ve watched lately is Landman, based in my part of the world – great show! Best book I’ve read would have to be Where the Crawdads Sing. Easily my favorite book.”

The Most Rewarding Part of the Job

For Carli, the most meaningful part of her role comes down to relationships. Over time, those connections grow into something much more personal.

She explained:

“The most rewarding part of my job is watching relationships grow with my customers. Going from people I talked to for the first time two years ago to seeing pictures of their grandbabies and chatting about exciting changes in their lives.”

A Hobby Still on the List

Like many people, Carli has interests she’d love to explore further when the time is right.

When asked about a hobby she’d like to try, she said:

“If I could try any hobby, it would probably be traveling, but I have to get over my fear of it first.”

A Memorable Moment at IRS

One of Carli’s favorite memories at IRS ties back to her early days with the company and the people she met along the way.

She shared:

“My favorite moment at IRS so far would have to be meeting everyone in the office during training and seeing the great state of Georgia for the first time through being a part of this team. Go Dawgs!”

How She Unwinds

After a busy week of calls, emails, and customer support, Carli values time at home with her family.

When asked how she decompresses, she said:

“My go-to after a long, busy day of work is sitting down with my little family for supper and listening to their day’s events. Somehow, the life of an 8-year-old girl is chock-full of exciting news, and my husband and I love to hear about it.”

Overcoming Challenges

Growth doesn’t happen without challenges, and Carli has faced her own as she stepped into a customer-facing role.

When asked about the biggest challenge she’s overcome, she shared:

“The biggest challenge I’ve overcome working with IRS is being a quiet/reserved person. This job, whether you like it or not, pushes you out of your comfort zone and teaches you to be a more confident and unafraid version of yourself.”

What Keeps Her Motivated

Staying motivated in a fast-paced environment requires focus and a strong sense of urgency. For Carli, that motivation comes from her view of time.

She explained:

“What drives me to work hard each day is the race against the clock. We only have so much time each month, and every day counts!”

Looking Ahead This Spring

As the seasons change, Carli is looking forward to spending more time outdoors with her family.

When asked what she’s excited about this spring, she said:

“As the weather gets warmer up in West TX, I always look forward to getting out of the house and spending time with the kids out and about and avoiding the wasps at all costs while doing so.”

A Valued Member of the IRS Team

Carli’s ability to stay consistent in her work and grow outside of her comfort zone makes her a valuable part of the Industrial Repair Service team. From supporting customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth region to balancing work and family life, Carli brings both professionalism and authenticity to her role every day.

We hope you enjoyed getting to know Carli a little better, and we look forward to sharing next month’s spotlight with you. Stay tuned!
